Released a detector for the Marshall Space Flight Center of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)

The manufacturing of the cadmium telluride double-sided semiconductor detector (CdTe-DSD) that was ordered from the Marshall Space Flight Center of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (MSFC, NASA) has been completed, and today, we have released the detector to MSFC, NASA.
This detector is installed at the focal plane of a next-generation, hard x-ray telescope that is being developed by the MSFC, NASA, and is used for imaging spectroscopy for black holes and neutron stars.
Going forward, its performance will be demonstrated in balloon experiments, and future expansion to satellite missions is also being considered.
